Tiger goes to his new home...

Well, the time has come. Tiger went home. The plan was to surprise Justin, so Brian contacted his Mom to let her know we were headed up there with Tiger. I was so excited for Tiger, but also sad because Tiger is the gentle giant and is Batman's best friend. I will also miss his greetings in the morning...he was always good for a morning horsey hug. :-)

Justin and his Mom were working at the arena...we snuck in behind the house and thru the field. Brian's Dad was out there on the tractor and went up before us, so they would be watching him...

We are almost there...Justin is hidden behind us...

Everyone surrounds Tiger - he has never been surrounded before, and is not very concerned about it.

Justin isn't dressed for riding but does not care...he is getting on his horse! They followed Brian around a while, then followed me around a time or two so they both could get comfortable...

Justin is ready to blaze his own trail...so he does!

I think this is going to be a good match...

Yep, I sure do!

Brian takes Tiger for a spin...

Tiger thinks this is all quite boring...

"Okay, are we done yet?"

"Apparently not...but I don't mind because the girl loves me..."

Tiger meets his pasture mates - ALL GIRLS!!!

Abby (dark brown) and Ginger think Tiger is kinda cute! ;-)

Everyone settled in just fine...Fancy is the one on the far left who is colored just like Tiger. Same smudge on the forehead too.

We got back out to check on everyone and pet the girls. Ginger wears a hat...

...and she thinks her hat looked funny! Laughter is like an instant vacation she says!

Fancy has been a bully to the other two girls, so Brian's Mom, Becky, was hoping that Tiger would put her in her place. He did! She got all up in his space and he turned to kick at her, then she started kicking and backing into him...well, he took charge and said "Right back atchya baby!" and he backed her down. She steered clear of his hind end after that, and the other two girls think he is their hero!

It was a great day...and yes, I did cry. I have decided I don't ever want to quit feeling like I do when it is time for them to go home. It is a reminder of how much I really truly love them and what a great experience they shared with me.

This morning Batman was kina lost. He just stood around by himself after hanging out with me a while. He has not spent as much time with me because he had Tiger. He will adjust...and so will I. Tiger is in a great home and still in the family, so it isn't like I won't get to see him. :-)

Wyoming is next...

Until later...Karen and Tripp who is secretly glad that Tiger is gone because that is one less horse to take attention away from him - but he is careful about letting me know how he feels because he realizes how important it is for me to help mustangs find good homes.

What a wonderful story. Tiger looks like he is going to be the luckiest horse in the world and will be loved so much. Brian's brother coulnd't look happier to have his horse.
Copper is looking great also, keep up the great work.

So with the way Brian and Tiger hit it off and now Tiger being gone, is Brian going to turn his ride times to another lucky mustang??? Hmm? I think Tiger and Brian's brother are a match made in heaven!
