Karen and Tripp
Tripp was my 2008 EMM horse, formerly known as #6676. He came home with me! Yay!

- I was one of 200 trainers selected to compete in the 2008 Extreme Mustang Makeover in Ft. Worth, TX, and the horse that was selected for me was Tripp (we named him). I have been a life long horse lover/horse owner but have never officially trained a horse from beginning to end. Especially on a time limit! My goal for this competition was to show that the average backyard horse person can gentle and train a mustang. It might take a while, but once you get there you will have a friend for life and it only gets better and better. I am happy to say that Tripp has officially joined the family! I also competed in the 2009 EMM in Murfreesboro, TN, and the 2010 EMM in Lincoln, NE. My husband and I have the pleasure of having 6 mustangs on our place, in addition to 4 domestic horses, 3 mini horses, 2 BLM burros, a donk, and a llama. I also have other hobbies. I love to read, paint ceramics, go letterboxing (letterboxing.org), garden, quilt, ride my motorcycle, scuba dive, and about anything that has to do with the outdoors. There just isn't enough time for it all, and as far as I am concerned, it is a good problem to have! :-)

HA HA HAAAA!!!!! Karen here! This is a note I left for Brian this morning. You can't read it but the top one is me....I was going to be riding.
The bottom one was me yesterday. Tripp got mad and layed down for the first time ever with me! So I wrote "This is not me." and Tripp is saying "Ha!" and I am saying "WTF?"
