I got another update on Copper! Woo hoo! Carrie and her family absolutely love him, and he loves them. Carrie thinks he will be more than ready for her 6 yr old daughter next Summer....he loves kids. When Carrie puts the kids on him, he is very attentive and walks carefully. What a sweetheart! She rides him everywhere and says he is very safe on busy streets now. Wow! He sure has come a long ways, hasn't he? These horses leave us 'green', and with some time and lots of riding they turn into this.....a priceless gem!
Copper loves jello in his feed! Hee hee!
Carrie riding Copper and her daughter riding ahead of her....what a great way for a family to spend time together.
This picture got a 1st prize ribbon from Brian.....that little girl in her bare feet being sniffed by a large horse is where a lot of us came from. Sometimes don't you revert back when you go out to visit your horse? I know I do.....from big kid back to little kid in a split second.
The top photo and this one are a tie for a 1st place ribbon.....I think I will put them in different categories so they both get 1st! :-) If you make this picture big, you can see the kids lined up along the railing on the right side. Beautiful!
Just a memory of Copper and I.....I am so happy he is loved!
Copper has learned so much and come so far. I am so happy for him and his family. I am also grateful for the updates. I really have tried not to be a Copper Stalker! Ha ha!
Until later....Karen and Tripp who got a fresh hoof trimmin' today.....now he can run faster and jump higher. Okay, not really....not much of a runner or a jumper. :-)
