I love May! May comes after the spring rains and mud and it is just starting to get nice and warm. Flowers are starting to bloom in full force and it is just real pretty out!

This luna moth was on one of our Rose of Sharon bushes. Here is a fun fact. They don't have a mouth...they don't eat anything.
I sure do love these big beautiful peonies! We have a few of them and they just don't last long enough.
The past couple years we have lost some hives, so this year we added one new one. Brian got them tucked in and fed. We only feed long enough to make sure the hive is strong enough to forage.
I am writing this in January 2015....as of this Fall they were doing great!
Epona thinks Brian is funny looking! :-)
